After School Drop Inn

Kid Longing on a SofaThe ‘Drop Inn’ , supported by Leeds Faith in Schools, is run on a Wednesday afternoon after school in term time, for pupils from Benton Park.
The aim is to provide a welcoming, friendly, environment where pupils can relax and feel free to participate in activities such as crafts, cooking, games (table tennis, chess, various board games), quizzes and watching the occasional video clip.

We provide soft drinks or beverages and jam and toast, and the opportunity for questioning discussions.

Emily Bosworth from Leeds Faith in Schools, occasionally supported by another LFIS member, leads the sessions, supported by Trinity ‘regulars’ Vicky Haig, Isobel Griffith, and Ken and Joan Duckels .
